This is an industrial pendant lamp, produced in 1978 by the Polish manufacturer Mesko. This iconic model, known as the 'Janek' or 'Mesko-bom', is an authentic example of Eastern European industrial design that was originally used in large factory halls and train stations. The lamp is made from a combination of metal and glass, with a diameter of approximately 43 cm and a height of 63 cm. The construction includes a distinctive conical shade of grey metal, heavy closing clamps, and an authentic metal protective grille. The thick, ribbed glass of the diffuser ensures an atmospheric and wide light distribution. The fixture is in good, working condition and retains all its original parts and finish. The patina that has developed over the years contributes to the authentic character and historical appearance of the object. With its robust and functional aesthetic, this pendant lamp is a characteristic statement piece for interiors with an industrial, vintage, or eclectic style.
