Rare RIJO Marque Rijo Architect Lamp – 1945 – XL-model – In excellent condition
Original industrial architect lamp by RIJO, designed by the Belgian designer Marque Rijo in 1945. Features two adjustable arms, a characteristic aluminum shade, and the original heavy aluminum table clamp.
The cast aluminum hinges are clearly marked with “RIJO” and “PATENT”. The lamp is in original vintage condition with authentic signs of use and beautifully aged aluminum.
A special and very decorative example of early post-war industrial design, with strong Bauhaus/functional influences.
