A beautiful addition for anyone who loves a retro interior. The designer or manufacturer of this lamp is unknown, but it is likely from France.
The lamp has a spherical shade of opal white glass with a warm orange overlay that flows downward in organic, almost flower-like or pumpkin-shaped planes. Under the shade is a decorative, wavy edge of clear glass, which gives the lamp a playful and elegant character.
When lit, the lamp produces a particularly atmospheric and warm light.
The lamp is in very good condition. The glass is completely intact and free of cracks or damage. At most, there are some very minor discolorations visible, consistent with its age.
