Reggiani Illuminazione Table lamp, Spherical Design - 1970s Reggiani founded his eponymous lighting factory in Brianza, Italy, a region known for its industrial tradition. In his designs, Reggiani primarily used chrome, but also opaline glass and teak, to create Space Age designs, such as Sputnik-style chandeliers, spherical table lamps, and floor lamps with trumpet-like diffusers. In the 1970s, Reggiani developed the first series of low-voltage halogen lamps in Europe.
