A vintage coat rack designed by Italian designers Roberto Lucci and Paolo Orlandini. This piece is a characteristic example of the Space Age era, characterized by its futuristic forms and the use of modern materials. It is the 'VIP' model, an iconic design from the 1970s. The coat rack is made from a combination of materials typical of the period. The base and the crown are made of red ABS plastic, while the central stand is made of chromed metal. The base also functions as an umbrella stand, making the design both stylish and functional. This Italian design was produced by Velca. The item is in good vintage condition, with a character consistent with its age and use. (See photo with finger tear) The colors are still vibrant and the structure is solid.
