Offered: A beautiful and very rare vintage ceramic kangaroo from the well-known Australian quality brand Wembley Ware (produced by Calyx Porcelain in Western Australia). This iconic figurine dates from the 1940s/50s and is almost never seen in Europe. It depicts a reddish-brown kangaroo looking back alertly, standing on a distinctive green glazed grass base. Wembley Ware is a highly sought-after brand among international collectors of retro design and antique ceramics. Brand: Wembley Ware (Australia) Period: Mid-Century (approx. 1940 - 1950) Height: Approx. 12 cm Condition: In excellent vintage condition.
