I am selling an exceptional piece for design and vintage object enthusiasts: an authentic "Space Age" / Industrial style table lamp from the 1970s. This is a massive, high-end production, far from lightweight reissues. The base is formed by an imposing thick chromed steel spring. The lamp weighs 6 kg, which gives it perfect stability and a real presence.
Features & Condition:
* Design: Solid chromed steel spring base, topped with a spherical globe in white opaline glass diffusing a soft light.
* Dimensions: Total height of approximately 36 cm (Base 25 cm + Globe). Diameter: 12-13 cm.
* Lighting: Equipped with a small screw-base socket (standard E14 type) with a supplied LED bulb. Very economical and easy to replace.
* Condition: Excellent condition. The chrome has been carefully cleaned, the opaline glass is intact.
* Electricity: Works perfectly. Original wiring and switch with its typical period plug (see photo), attesting to its authenticity.
Style & Attribution: A design in the style of Ingo Maurer's creations (Design M) or German/Italian productions of the 70s. An original, robust, and very aesthetic piece to enhance a sideboard, a desk, or a bedside table.
