A rare and highly distinctive Siemens Halske industrial wall clock, featuring a beautifully graphic 24-hour dial dating from the early 20th century. The striking black circular case is complemented by a warm gold-coloured inner bezel and a highly legible cream dial with bold black 12-hour numerals and a secondary red 24-hour scale. The sculptural black hands and small Siemens emblem at the centre add to its unmistakable industrial character. Originally designed for functional environments such as factories, workshops, offices or public buildings, this type of clock is now highly appreciated as an impressive piece of industrial and modernist design. The combination of strong graphic typography, the unusual dual time scale and the substantial 42 cm diameter gives this clock a particularly powerful presence on the wall. An authentic and highly decorative piece of German industrial design. Condition: Good vintage condition with authentic signs of age and use. The black-painted outer case shows various areas of wear, small chips and losses to the finish, while the dial also displays age-related marks and patina.
