Exquisite handcrafted pieces from the renowned Elchinger workshop, dating from the late 1950s and early 1960s. Founded in 1834, the Elchinger workshop is located in Soufflenheim (Bas-Rhin), a town with a history of pottery production dating back to Gallo-Roman times.
This set comprises three two-tone ceramic bowls glazed in a reddish-orange hue, two of which are quite large (a rare find), and are signed in relief.
A truly beautiful piece of graphic and artistic work that will instantly enliven a monochrome interior or a simple table setting. In very good condition with only minor signs of age, this fine tableware is over 70 years old.
