Rare Scandinavian secretary desk from the 60s, in the style of Marian Grabinski for IKEA
A particularly elegant piece due to its proportions, its sober architecture, and its ingenious writing space hidden behind the flap.
The furniture features an interesting manufacturing mark on the back readable as 'L50 4 61', which could provide additional information about its origin and manufacture.
Its design shows strong similarities with Marian Grabinski's first creations intended for the Scandinavian market, particularly with the furniture universe marketed by IKEA in the early 1960s. However, the attribution to IKEA is not considered definitively documented.
A rare piece, particularly interesting for a lover of modernist furniture and 1960s design.
