Description: Superb handcrafted stoneware pitcher, an iconic creation from the "La Colombe" workshop, founded by the renowned ceramist Jean-Marie Maure in Tain-l'Hermitage (Drôme, France).
This piece exemplifies the excellence of French ceramic production in the 1970s. It is distinguished by a deep, reactive glaze: magnificent white drips contrast with the deep green enamel, all on a robust brown clay base. The base bears the workshop's typical incised signature: a stylized dove in flight.
A collector's item with a timeless design, ideal for a statement interior or for enriching a mid-century French stoneware collection.
Material: Glazed stoneware (natural clays). Dimensions: 18 cm (height) x 9 cm (base diameter).
