Rare 1970s Modernist bar cart from Czechoslovakia, distinguished by an expressive combination of chrome-plated tubular metal, smoked glass and dark wood. The sculptural construction incorporates two elevated smoked glass surfaces supported by sweeping tubular chrome frames, with spacious lower wooden serving platforms. At the center is an integrated bottle holder featuring three circular orange inserts, providing a striking period accent and reinforcing the cart’s unmistakable 1970s Space Age aesthetic. The interplay of polished chrome, dark wood, tinted glass and vivid orange detailing creates a particularly graphic composition from every angle. Mounted on casters, the cart remains fully mobile and functional while offering multiple surfaces for bottles, glassware and serving accessories. An unusual example of 1970s Czechoslovak Modernist furniture, combining functionality with the futuristic geometry characteristic of Space Age design. Suitable as a cocktail trolley, drinks cart, serving trolley or statement display piece. Good original vintage condition with minor signs of use and age consistent with its age.
