This original Erich Dieckmann Bauhaus armchair made of beech and paper cord was manufactured in Germany from the 1920s to the 1930s. Alongside Marcel Breuer, Erich Dieckmann is considered the most significant furniture designer of the Bauhaus in Weimar and Dessau. The typical Dieckmann characteristics are clearly present. The chairs are in good to very good condition. Normal signs of wear. One chair has scratches on the front in one spot; the original paper cord is intact all around. For the other chair, the last almost 100 years seem to have passed without a trace, and it is in excellent unrestored original condition. With this piece, you acquire a design classic that will accentuate your exceptional interior design taste. Price per armchair.
