For the enthusiast and collector of unique Dutch design: a beautiful and now very rare postmodern floor lamp by Queens Gallery Utrecht from the 80s / 90s.
This specific two-headed model is designed in the characteristic style of the renowned Utrecht design house. The lamp is handmade and combines an elegant, minimalist black tubular frame with two brilliant, organically shaped shades of deep cobalt blue glass.
Thanks to the double, flexible articulated arms and the rotatable shades, you can adjust the light incidence entirely to your liking for an atmosphere of your choice or functional light. The base is made of cast iron, very beautifully designed.
Condition:
The lamp is in exceptionally good condition. The frame looks very neat, no major damage or anything like that. The fragile colored glass is, as far as I can see, 100% undamaged and completely scratch-free! (a rarity for these vintage design classics) The mechanism of the articulated arms is mechanical and can be easily tightened as desired with the original adjustment screws.
