Product description
This floor lamp from the 1950s, often referred to as a slender pole lamp, is a characteristic example of Mid-Century Modern lighting design. The design stands out with its three gracefully curved arms that terminate in elongated, ribbed glass shades, each featuring a subtle colored accent at the socket in red, blue, and yellow.
The construction consists of a slender, black metal frame resting on a three-legged base, creating an airy and elegant appearance. A striking detail is the red wrapping around the central section of the stand, which not only provides a visual contrast but also ties the three arms together. The glass shades spread a soft, diffused light that gives the room a warm atmosphere.
The lamp is in good condition commensurate with its age and use, retaining its original elements and characteristic patina. The wiring and switch are present and functional.
This fixture is an excellent addition to a vintage or eclectic interior. The slim profile makes it an ideal choice for a reading nook or as mood lighting next to a sofa or armchair.
Pick up in person in Maasmechelen or arrange with the Whoppah courier. In very nice condition!
