Qianlong Dynasty early Qing Chinese vase (circa 1980). This vase is sold with its box. This Chinese porcelain vase is in the shape of a crescent moon or a moon gate. The traditional Chinese moon gate is often used in gardens and on authentic antique objects from the late Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), but also on high-quality modern reproductions. The painting depicts a woman in traditional Chinese clothing standing by a pine tree under a large golden moon. In Chinese art, the pine tree is a powerful symbol of resilience and longevity. The inscription and red seal on the vase are characteristic of pieces from the imperial kilns of Jingdezhen, where many such vases were produced. The round, flat shape of the vase is a variation of the moonflask (baoyueping), which symbolizes good fortune and spiritual wealth. The height of the vase is approximately 10 cm. For its condition, please view the photos. Please note: The items are not new, so there will always be scratches, discolorations, and/or cracks/dents to a greater or lesser extent.
