Product description
This is a vintage glass sculpture of an elephant, designed by Uno Westerberg for the Swedish glass factory Pukeberg. The piece is characteristic of Westerberg's work from the mid-20th century, with a robust, abstract form and a textured 'ice glass' surface. The object is entirely made of clear, solid glass, which gives it significant weight and an icy appearance. The sculpture is in very good condition, consistent with its age. This decorative piece is a fine example of Scandinavian design and fits well into a modern or vintage interior, for example on a sideboard or in a bookcase.
