The "Dost" series is an iconic furniture collection from the Dutch design brand Puik. The name "Dost" is derived from the Turkish word for friendship. Named for the native meaning of "friendship," the Dost lounge chair was inspired by one of our most basic human needs: comfort. This inviting, cozy chair has been designed to provide a sense of solace and security. Whether you're having a bad day or just want to curl up with a good book, a few moments resting on a Dost chair will be as comforting as a cuddle from an old friend. All collections include furniture and accessories with a modern and constantly evolving style. What makes Puik's designs unique is the use of transparent materials and soft colors that highlight natural reflections and light. The choice of original forms makes all creations original in their simplicity and adaptable to any environment. In recent years, under the artistic direction of Tineke Beunders (Ontwerpduo), the company has grown exponentially in collaboration with numerous designers.
