Product description
I Promessi Sposi by Alessandro Manzoni - Treccani edition of 1973. Superb two-volume edition bound in leather, embossed copper cover, work by the sculptor Bronislav Lucovic. The printing was done by the Vatican Polyglot Typography on handmade paper with water-based watermark of the Magnani brothers from Pescia. The binding in all leather worked by hand with impressions of pure gold is the work of the bookbinding Conti Borrone of Milan. Enriched with tables by Ernesto Treccani.
