These "Krekel" table lamps (Model R-60) were designed by Otto Wasch (circa 1968) and produced by Raak Amsterdam, one of the most important Dutch lighting manufacturers of the 20th century. The lamps consist of a light metal tube (color: brushed silver) of 30 cm with a diameter of 5 cm and two pins. By sliding the pins you set the lamp in any desired position. The lamps have a push switch on the bottom of the lamp. According to the original catalog, the lamp looks best when combined with a mirrored lamp for indirect illumination of a painting or poster or with a head-mirrored lamp for reading, dusk and slumber. The price is for the set (two pieces). The table lamp was included in the 1972 Raak Amsterdam Light Catalogue: "One rod, two pins, one lamp. Could it be simpler? Hardly." Dimensions: 23 cm (height) x 27 cm (width) - 5 cm (diameter tube)These lamps are completely original and in good vintage condition according to age (see photos). The lamps have been completely rewired (new black switch, black cord, socket) and work completely. All you have to do is screw in a bulb and enjoy.
