These 4 Victoria & Albert armchairs were designed by Ron Arad for the Italian manufacturer Moroso. This design is a prime example of Arad's characteristic sculptural and fluid design language. The Victoria & Albert armchair, named after the famous London museum where Arad had an exhibition, is an iconic piece within contemporary furniture design.
The armchairs are manufactured in Italy and have an internal steel structure, encased in molded polyurethane foam for a durable and comfortable result. The upholstery is made of a high-quality 'Divina 2' fabric by Kvadrat, which consists of 100% virgin wool. The striking purple color (different colors, per 2) gives the furniture a powerful and expressive look.
These pieces are in good condition, with the original wool upholstery having retained its color and texture well. The construction is solid and they have seen limited use in an office environment. The chairs have glides that protect the floor.
Used in an office environment in recent years, but have become redundant due to renovation.
