A refined wall lamp, designed by the influential Dutch designer Jan des Bouvrie. This piece, dating from the nineties, is a prime example of the minimalist and functional aesthetic for which Des Bouvrie was known, executed in an elegant brass finish. The lamp is made of high-quality brass with a brushed finish, which provides a warm and subtle sheen. The construction consists of a stable, round base and a fully adjustable arm with multiple pivot points, allowing the light to be precisely directed. The round lampshade contains a glass diffuser that provides a clear but pleasant light, ideal for reading or as task lighting. This design is a characteristic example of Dutch Design from the end of the 20th century. Produced by Boxford Holland bv. The fixture is in very good, original condition, consistent with its age and careful use. The brass parts have a consistent patina and the electrical wiring, including the switch, is functional.
