A set of two vintage PK22 lounge chairs, designed by the Danish modernist Poul Kjærholm and produced by E. Kold Christensen. This early version of the PK22 features a frame of matte chrome-plated steel, bearing the manufacturer's stamp E. Kold Christensen and 'Denmark', which confirms its authenticity and origin. The seat and backrest are made from a single piece of leather in a warm, cognac-colored hue. The chairs are in vintage condition and show a rich and lived-in patina that testifies to their history. The original materials and construction have been preserved, keeping the character of the chairs intact.
