Product description
Unique and rare: Triangular metal waste bin/umbrella stand, red with a black frame, manufactured by the Dutch post-war furniture and home accessories manufacturer Pilastro. Produced in the 1950s. Can be used as a waste bin, umbrella stand, planter (with an inner container), or storage bin. Dimensions: Height 34 cm, width/depth 27 cm. Some enamel loss on the top edge and bottom edge of the bin (figs. 10, 11, 12) and on one side of the bin wall (see fig. 7). The rest of the red bin is in good condition. Some corrosion on the black frame and the inside bottom (figs. 11, 12). The signs of wear are consistent with age and use.
