Product description
The iconic Mushroom armchair, designed by Pierre Paulin for Artifort, is a masterpiece of post-war design. This specific piece stands out for its flowing, organic silhouette and the distinctive seamless upholstery that defines Paulin's innovative approach to furniture design.
The armchair is crafted with a sturdy internal structure and upholstered in high-quality woven textile in a vibrant turquoise color. The construction rests on a round wooden base that provides stability and enhances the floating aesthetic of the design. The fabric displays a fine texture that contributes to the chair's tactile comfort.
The piece is in good condition, retaining its original shape and structural integrity. The upholstery shows characteristic signs of use consistent with its age, contributing to the authentic vintage look of this collector's item.
This armchair is a striking addition to both modern and eclectic interiors. The design lends itself perfectly as an accent piece in a living room or reading nook, where it offers both visual impact and comfortable seating.
