Vintage Meopta Opemus II photographic enlarger with accessories. This object has been upcycled into a great retro lamp for the home, as it is a striking object. Classic industrial chic. Tested: Yes. This striking enlarger was made in Czechoslovakia around 1960. It is equipped with the original Meopta Belar 75mm f/4.5 lens. Type No: 74214 Series No. 9513 Hand-operated rack and pinion with focusing bellows. It has solid metal construction and 1960s space age styling makes it look great. The mechanism moves well and stays in place when moved up and down on the mounting post. The support post can be unscrewed from the plinth. Weight approximately 9.0 kg, unpackaged, plus accessories. Dimensions (including plinth): - Fully upright: approximately 97 cm high x 39 m wide x 58 cm deep - Fully lowered: approximately 76 cm high x 39 cm wide x 58 cm deep Lamp itself: with 3-position LED bulb (ambient light, 3 positions - Standard bulb - E27 - 6.5W - Super Warm White <2200K - Filament - Clear). - former doku photo negatives enlarger lamp, now to be used as beautiful eye-catcher table lamp. - brand: Meopta - type: Opemus IIa - made in: Czechoslovakia. - year of construction: 1960 - original bakelite switch (functioning). - original bakelite plug (ungrounded) is included. - The lamp (head piece) can be clicked on the bottom piece but can also be hung loose: see photos. So you can 'play' creatively with the different light effects.
