Peter Ghyczy coffee table in glass, oak and brass. An elegant coffee table by Peter Ghyczy, in which glass, oak wood and brass come together in a particularly refined and architectural design. The generous rectangular glass top almost seems to float above the base, giving the table a light, transparent appearance. At the four corners, the glass is held by characteristic brass connecting elements, which form a beautiful contrast with the warm oak legs. Precisely this combination of materials and the sleek construction makes the design immediately recognizable as Ghyczy's work. The table has a nice size for a spacious seating area: large enough to be truly functional, but the transparent top keeps the overall look visually light. A strong vintage design piece that can be easily combined with both Italian and European Mid-Century design as well as a more contemporary or eclectic interior. The brass has deliberately not been polished, preserving its natural patina and authentic vintage character. If desired, the brass parts can be professionally polished at an additional cost. The table is in very good vintage condition, with signs of wear consistent with age and use.
