Set consisting of a three-seat sofa, loveseat (or two-seat) and armchair, designed by Yngve Ekström for Pastoe. This FU05 set dates from the 50-60s and still features the original pink velvet upholstery, which, by the way, is in fantastic condition. The wood used for the armrests and backrest is teak. The design is simple but sophisticated and the soft "dirty pink," almost salmon-like color gives it an original, one-of-a-kind look.
Yngve Ekström was an architect, woodworker and furniture designer. After his father's death at the age of 13, Ekström began working in the country's oldest furniture factory, Hagafors Chair Factory, where he acquired the skills and expertise of a true craftsman. In his meuebel designs, Yngve Ekstrom always knew how to find the right balance between aesthetics and functionality. This is why the furniture he created is known, among other things, for its exceptional comfort.
