Rare pair of Karaté armchairs, designed by Michel Cadestin and produced by Airborne in the 1970s.
An emblematic model of 70s French design, recognizable by its spectacular white shell with rounded shapes and its brown leather upholstered seat.
This pair has just emerged from an attic where it had been stored for approximately 46 years. The armchairs have thus retained their original configuration, with their shells, bases, and brown upholstered leather.
The leather shows a beautiful patina related to its age and remains in good general condition considering it is over 50 years old. Some marks and imperfections are present, particularly on certain edges.
The white shells also show traces, scratches, and marks related to their age and long storage period. An aesthetic restoration would allow them to regain their full splendor.
The armchairs are therefore offered in their original condition, with their patina and some restoration work to be expected. Photographs are an integral part of the description, and additional detailed photos can be sent upon request.
