Pair of nightstands from Maison Roméo, Paris, attributed to Jean-Claude Mahey, dating from the 1970s. Each nightstand opens with two drawers and features black fronts highlighted by gilded metal strips. The drawers are equipped with matching cylindrical handles. The sides are also black and the tops are covered with black glass. Dimensions of each nightstand: W. 56 × H. 40 × D. 38 cm. Condition of use consistent with their age. Some traces, micro-scratches and discreet marks are visible on the surfaces and metal parts. A small chip / localized missing piece is visible on one of the tops, as shown in the photographs.
