Beautiful pair of traditional wingback armchairs with elegant curved wooden armrests, turned wooden legs and decorative upholstery studs.
We purchased these chairs approximately eight years ago from a second-hand dealer. Their exact age and manufacturer are unknown, but the construction and design suggest that they are older vintage pieces, possibly dating from the early to mid-20th century.
Both chairs have a very attractive classical shape and plenty of character. The cream and gold fleur-de-lis upholstery is still presentable overall, but shows clear signs of use, including wear and some damage to the fabric. The wooden elements also show age-related marks and patina.
The chairs are therefore offered in unrestored condition, making them particularly interesting for someone looking for an upholstery or restoration project.
