Pair of Umberto Asnago "Progetti" armchairs for Giorgetti, signed, Italy 1980Progetti, designed and produced by the Giorgetti Research Center, is a tall shepherd's chair with a solid beech frame. The arms are in polished pau ferro. Umberto Asagno began working for Giorgetti in 1968, becoming chief designer and heading their design research center. He is a well-known figure in Italian design and fashion, known for his showrooms and visionary environments.The chairs are in excellent condition, the covers are easily removable and washable.
