Collaborating with leading furniture brands, he has continued the traditions of Bauhaus by merging aesthetics with practicality. His partnership with Thonet led to the development of models like the S 60, which remain relevant in the 21st century.
About Thonet
The Thonet factory, founded by Michael Thonet in the 19th century, is one of the most iconic companies in furniture design history. Its renowned models, such as bentwood chairs, became symbols of the modernist and functionalist eras. In the 1920s, Thonet began collaborating with Bauhaus masters like Marcel Breuer, securing its status as a pioneer. The S 60 model continues this tradition, combining classic material craftsmanship with modern technologies.
Features of the Thonet S 60 Chair:
• Design: Freischwinger cantilever structure for lightness and comfort.
• Materials: Walnut veneer with natural texture and high-quality natural leather.
• Ergonomics: Perfectly balanced shape for maximum sitting comfort.
• Exclusivity: This model blends contemporary design trends with timeless appeal, making it ideal for both private and public spaces.
Interior Use
The Thonet S 60 chairs perfectly complement modern interiors, adding a touch of sophistication and style. They are ideal for living rooms, offices, or lounge areas, with their elegant appearance becoming a focal point of attention.
If you value refined aesthetics and wish to bring a touch of history and modern design
into your space, the Thonet S 60 chair is the perfect choice.
