Product description
A rare pair of original 1960s Space Age metal wall lamps.
Designed by Klaus Hempel for Kaiser Leuchten. Made in Germany.
A beautiful, quintessential 1960s minimalist design.
The lamps consist of two parts: a front section made of orange-lacquered metal and a back section made of black-lacquered metal, which houses the socket.
The two parts simply slot together; the screws serve only to hold the spring mechanism in place.
No damage; in very good vintage condition. Shows minor signs of use and patina.
The black paint on the back is flaking off in some areas, though this is not visible once the lamp is mounted.
100% original condition and fully functional.
Each lamp takes one E14 bulb (up to 40 watts).
