Product description
Elegant pair of Japanese Imari porcelain vases, dating from the Meiji period (1868–1912), later adapted as table lamp bases.
The porcelain bodies feature richly painted decoration in the traditional palette of cobalt blue, iron red, and white, with floral motifs, stylized foliage, and finely detailed geometric reserves. The decorative compositions differ slightly from one vase to the other, highlighting their handcrafted character.
The vases are enhanced by refined gilt bronze mounts fitted to the bases and upper sections, displaying a delicate patina consistent with their age.
A decorative and highly elegant pair, ideal for classical, eclectic, or contemporary interiors.
Lampshades are not included. Minor irregularities, variations in the decoration, and signs of age are consistent with the period and handcrafted nature of the pieces.
