An iconic design classic of fine German porcelain. This original "Tütenvase" (paper bag vase) was designed by the legendary Finnish designer Tapio Wirkkala for the Rosenthal Studio Line. The vase masterfully mimics the texture and folds of a crumpled paper bag, creating a beautiful organic interplay of light and shadow on the glossy white surface. This specific piece is a sought-after collector's item. Based on the Rosenthal mark and the year marking (the dot below the country name 'Germany'), this vase can be precisely dated to the year 1987. Additionally, Wirkkala's signature is beautifully visible on the underside.
