A museum-quality and extremely rare brutalist coffee table from the renowned Belgian workshop Pia Manu (Ingelmunster), designed by Jules Dewaele in the 1960s. This piece is in beautiful vintage condition and stands out due to the presence of the highly sought-after gold glaze (gold inlay) between the handmade, fire-enameled ceramic tiles in deep red, earth tones, and black. The tiles were originally manufactured in collaboration with the famous art ceramics workshop Amphora (Sint-Andries). The table is officially provided with the rare, impressed signature "PIA MANU" on the side in the resin/concrete edge. This offers 100% guarantee on the authenticity of this masterpiece. The whole rests on a sleek, minimalist metal/chrome steel base, which forms a beautiful contrast with the robust, artisanal tabletop.
