This original vintage suitcase by J. Sutton from Plymouth is a distinctive travel object with a rich history. The suitcase stands out due to its robust leather construction and authentic details that bear witness to a past life full of travel.
Crafted from sturdy brown leather, the suitcase features reinforced corners and a robust handle with visible stitching. The brass-colored hardware, including the lock with the inscription 'Secure Lever', adds an industrial yet classic element. The initials 'L.H.H.' and 'C.M.N.' are subtly applied to the leather and a brass plate, contributing to its unique provenance. The interior is lined with a striking red-pink striped fabric, complete with the original J. Sutton maker's label. Old Southern Railway travel stickers adorn the exterior.
