Rare early all-black version of the iconic "Torch" lamp by designer Herman Hermsen (1983). An early example of Dutch post-modern design, recognizable by its clean geometry, taut cables, and minimalist industrial look.
The lamp is in excellent, fully original condition: paintwork beautifully smooth, socket and construction authentic. Complete with wall plate, rod, cord, and original power cord (2.5 m) with cord switch located 1 m from the lamp. Ready for immediate installation.
With the terminal block, the lamp can of course also be mounted directly to a light point in the wall or ceiling.
Supplied with an energy-efficient LED spot and also the original halogen spot.
A special collector's item for enthusiasts of Dutch Design, 1980s high-tech aesthetics, and rare early productions.
The total dimensions are approximate, due to the varying configuration in which the lamp can be hung:
Rod with lamp. 43 cm, depth from base plate 32 cm, bracket for cord 34 cm.
