are original French advertising maquette by Henry Le Monnier (1893–1978), created for Denis-Mounié & Cie Cognac, circa 1950s.
This is an original hand-executed preparatory artwork made before printing, combining gouache, ink and collage on paper.
The composition presents an elegant gift box containing three bottles of Denis-Mounié Cognac beneath the slogan:
“Un royal cadeau…”
Signed Henry Le Monnier lower right.
The reverse bears handwritten working annotations, including the words “maquette affiche”, confirming its original purpose as a preparatory advertising design.
