Product description
The chandelier offered here appears to be a transitional production between Art Nouveau and Art Deco, as it still possesses some characteristics of Art Nouveau without exhibiting the playful elements typical of that style. The chandelier is made of solid brass and glass. The glass bowl and all other glass parts are without damage and in top condition for their age. The lovingly crafted brass fish on the rim of the glass bowl, as well as the curved arms of the chandelier, suggest a production period between 1905 and 1925. All 8 lights function perfectly, and in this condition, this item is an absolute unique piece. The light fixture consists of 6 arms, and there are also 2 light sources in the central glass bowl.
