Olivier Cajan French Wicker Frog Basket, circa 1970 Charming frog-shaped wicker basket by French designer Olivier Cajan, dating from circa 1970. Handwoven in natural wicker, with original coloured glass eyes, woven feet and forelegs, and a large open basket compartment formed within the frog's body. A playful example of Cajan's distinctive animal-shaped designs, which can be used as a basket or magazine holder, or simply displayed as a decorative piece. Dimensions: 40 cm high × 37 cm wide × 22 cm deep. Condition: Very good vintage condition, with signs of age and minor losses to fingers and toes, entirely consistent with its period.
