About the artist
Nicole Schaap (Brussels 1943) studied at the High Council for Diamonds in Antwerp and set up her studio in Breda. As a painter, she is inspired by Karel Appel, Picasso, and Miro. Her unique style: narrative, neither figurative nor purely abstract. Her work is characterized by cheerful, fresh colors.
