The Mare was designed by René Holten and is recognizable by its clear lines, the characteristic indentation in the middle of the seat, and the slender sled base that runs from back to front. This gives the sofa a spacious, elegant, and timeless appearance. During reupholstery, the construction, springs, filling, and foam were also checked and, where necessary, repaired, supplemented, or renewed.
