Rare pair of mobile shirt and clothing display cabinets designed by Naihan Li as part of the Lane Crawford Crates commission of 2014. The two matching cabinets are constructed in walnut with stainless-steel exterior panels, industrial hardware and castors. Each cabinet contains multiple individually extending walnut trays for shirts and accessories and is finished with a large hinged glass display lid. The design belongs to Naihan Li's celebrated Crates Series, inspired by shipping crates that transform when opened into fully functional furniture and interior environments. Provenance: Acquired directly from Lane Crawford together with two other Naihan Li pieces from the same 2014 commissioned installation.
