About This Design
The Moroso Victoria & Albert Anthracite is an Armchair by Ron Arad from 2000 for the Italian brand Moroso. The collection is named after the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, where an important retrospective of Arad's work was exhibited. The design began as a kind of indented donut, which Arad further shaped into a continuous, undulating line. The result is an Armchair that is both furniture and sculpture. The oval opening in the back and the flowing curves make the chair interesting from all sides.
