An exceptionally large coffee table by renowned Ecuadorian designer Angel Pazmiño, crafted by Muebles de Estilo in Ecuador in the 1960s/70s.
The table combines Pazmiño's iconic Brutalist design language with high-quality South American leather craftsmanship. The solid, round tabletop is entirely covered in hand-embossed leather, showcasing striking pre-Columbian-inspired relief motifs with distinct depth and a beautiful patina.
The tabletop is supported by solid, turned wooden legs with a distinctive, sculptural presence. A particularly interesting feature is the contemporary height adjustment: precisely fitted wooden elements allow the height to be flexibly extended from approximately 40 cm to approximately 45 cm.
