An iconic Armchair by Dutch designer Gerard Van Den Berg, produced by Montis. This piece is a characteristic example of Dutch Design from the 1980s. The design owes its name, 'Butterfly', to the wing-like shape of the seat, which creates a sculptural and inviting appearance.The construction consists of a slender, chrome-plated metal frame that forms a contrasting base for the generous seat. The Armchair is equipped with a removable cover, executed in a deep red leather with a subtle texture. Beneath the cover is a base of black mesh fabric, which contributes to the seating comfort and flexibility of the design.This vintage Armchair is in good condition, consistent with its age and use.
