The modular wall system "Cado", designed by Poul Cadovius for Cado, is an outstanding example of Danish design from the Mid-Century era.
Crafted from noble Rio rosewood (Dalbergia nigra), also known as rosewood and Brazilian jacaranda, one of the most precious tropical woods available. The furniture piece impresses with its distinctive grain and warm, brown coloration, which adds a special depth to any room.
This system consists of three wall panels and offers a variety of functional elements. It includes an integrated, illuminated bar and a secretary desk, both of which are lockable and come with two keys (one of which is original). Additionally, the system features a reading and presentation desk as well as a special module for storing records. The well-thought-out construction offers ample storage space for books and art objects.
The wall system is in good condition and shows characteristics consistent with its history since its acquisition in 1971. The original invoice from that year is available and underlines the authenticity of this design classic.
This versatile piece of furniture seamlessly integrates into modern or classic interiors, offering both aesthetic appeal and practical functionality. It is excellently suited for living or working areas where stylish storage is desired.
