Modernist Art Deco Bauhaus-style sideboard, chrome-plated steel frame, 2-door pedestal and walnut wood shelf, circa 1930. Beautifully proportioned and highly functional, this piece of furniture is balanced and sober, already heralding the Design period of the 1950s. This furniture comprises 2 distinct storage sections, a double-door pedestal and a suspended top shelf. Structure and legs in chromed tubular steel. A protective glass shelf is fitted over the top (not visible on the photos, in perfect condition, will be supplied with the furniture). This piece of furniture has been well preserved and is in good condition, with a few traces of oxidation but no lack of chrome.
